Pink Saturday -- Past and Present

Fall is coming so quickly this year. Yesterday, it was so cold I closed all the windows in our barn and almost put the furnace on in the house! Although I love fall and actually enjoy the solitude of winter, I'm just not quite ready to let go of summer yet! Not at all!

As soon as the air started to chill, I turned my thoughts to warmer days and a Chocolate Ice Cream Soda! If you would like the recipe for the Chocolate Ice Cream Soda and the Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies with Coconut please click here.

And some pink from the little flea market held every Saturday in the village just south of my home.

I actually DID turn the heat on last night, just to take the chill off; but, now it looks like a rainy weekend so it may just stay on. Hopefully it isn't here to stay!

Love all the pink photos. We are far from summer being over here in Alabama, but we got a "wiff" of it last weekend with lows in the a.m. just under 60 degrees. I love the fall time of the year and the winter.

Happy Pink Saturday Michelle! It's not cold here in Pennsylvania yet, but it sure is dreary! Your pinks are beautiful. My favorite is that sugar and creamer set for $3.00. I'm getting the flea marketing urge! Have a great weekend and stay warm.

Happy Pink Saturday Michelle!
Hope you are having a wonderful pink day. Love your post. The little rose sugar and creamer set I loved best, but that gal in the pink farming clothes was a close second. Thanks for sharing. Please stop by and say hi. I would love to have you visit. Country hugs, Sherry

It got a little chilly here last night, but not too much. Love all your photos - I am not ready to say goodbye to summer yet, either! Happy Pink Saturday!

A little thinning out of the heat here in New Jersey, but no where near the heat-on type of weather. It's still firmly summer.

Thanks for visiting. As for Mosaics, I make mine in Picasa, they are saved in my "pictures" file on the computer, and I just upload them the usual way onto the blog-- as if they were just any other picture. Don't know if that helps -- with computers, I don't know WHY anything works, I just sometimes get lucky!

Well we still have beautiful sunshine here in BC but the nights are getting cooler. Not yet cold but definitely cool. I too love the Fall. Now once the rain comes we will be turning on our furnace for sure.
That begonia is pretty. Do you save the corms for next year?
